Half a glass of water?
People always seem to be asking if a glass is half full of half empty. This is supposed to tell if your optimistic or pessimistic. To me the answer is obvious. A glass is not half full or half empty unless it's in the process of being filled or emptied. Logically if you are filling a glass and stop half way though it is half full. If you have emptied it half way then half empty. If no action is being performed upon it at all then it is just a half glass of liquid. I guess that makes me a realist. But then that would also mean there are very few realist in the world.
